Summary of works:
Our customer required scaffolding to be erected to the exterior of the church to allow for access to the roof for repairs. Scaffold was also erected carefully to the interior to give safe access for repairs and maintenance. At the time of the install, there were very high winds. This can cause added health and safety factors. We checked forecasts before arrival and tight deadlines had to be strictly adhered to.
Predominately storm damage to the church and some general maintenance. Two scaffolds had design, due to the building being listed the scaffold had to be carefully erected without touching the actual building. Monoflex sheeting was used to encapsulate the scaffold and to prevent dust and debris falling into the main building as this was still in use by the public. External hoarding was tied into the exterior of the structure using 4m corrugated sheeting.
Project lasted for a total of 12 months
